WestFair Caregivers.com
For our highly valued Clients, new and returning, as well as referring, we hold on to 4 Basic Mantras:
1) Yes, the most powerful word in the World - and we use it often
2) Whether the discussion is about taking a loved one out to lunch once a week or 24/7 care for years, we try hard to say 'YES'.
3) We discuss money straightforwardly and if we can get on the same page, we'll take care of everything else, that's what we do best
4) Please be prepared to provide complete physical and mental health history for the patient as well as previous experience(s) with caregivers, we take notes and it becomes part of our intake process.
For our Prescious Patients, we hold on to 4 Basic Mantras:
1) We provide care the way you prefer to receive it, after we learn your preferences
2) To provide care well, we do need to nourish ourselves at or near traditional meal times and get off our feet 5 or 10 minutes of most hours.
3) Our goal is to leave you and your abode better than we found you at each shift that we have had the good fortune of being retained for
4) We appreciate you being direct with us about any modification in your care, which we will attempt to incorporate at our earliest opportunity to work together, for your benefit
For our conscientious caregivers providing care now, returning from a break in service or joining our great team for the 1st time, we strive to stick with simple 4 Mantras:
1) Yes, we are hiring now, and always due to the constant changes in the lives of our patients, clients, and caregivers
2) We primarily work with private clients that appreciate and respect us and expect to receive good care, delivered with a smile, on time
3) Unless you have more than 5+ yrs exp with solid gold references, please complete your CNA course prior to being in touch with us
4) Most of our clients are in mid-lower Westchester and Fairfield and you will be reimbursed at current GAO rates for traditional errands w/ or w/o our patient. At minimum, expect 2 or 3 phone interview calls, and most likely 2 or 3 in person visits a month or two prior to your initial engagement

A Note From Monique - There was a day when I was the only one present, ever for 12 hrs/day, 7 days/week, one client at a time. While that may have been simpler and all the hours were helpful for my family at the time, I gained knowledge from the experience whilte I learned that is not the best for the patient, the client or the Caregiver(s).
We have learned over time that the dedication of a good team is far better for all of us and that is what I have chosen to dedicate my knowledge and experience to provide. Rest assured, I stay in touch with all the patients, clients and all the caregivers with my primary goal to be re-evaluate the care necessary and make sure the 'Team' is working effectively.
